NBA All Star Game Roster 2017

The Eastern Conference All-Star reserves includes a mix of familiar faces and fresh new blood. Mainstays such as John Wall,  Kyle Lowrey , and Paul George  are on here, but so are newcomers Isahia Thomas and Kemba Walker. It’s a fun new mix, although not a fresh as the four new All-Star starters making up the starting five next to LeBron James.

The big question was whether Embiid had done enough to earn an All-Star bid despite the 76er's record and his own minutes limit. When he plays, Philadelphia has a positive scoring differential. When he doesn’t, they are awful. In spite of a late surge, the coaches left Embiid off the team.

It was also unclear if any of the East’s sparkling point guards would be left off the roster. In the end, the coaches rewarded all of them, adding Wall, Lowry, Thomas, and Walker to the mix.

Here are the reserves for the Eastern Conference All-Star team. They will join starters Kyrie Irving, DeMar DeRozan, LeBron James, Jimmy Butler, and Giannis Antetkounmpo. The game will take place on Feb. 19

                                                              Isaiah Thomas

The 5’9 Thomas is leaping to heights the league hasn’t seen since Allen Iverson revolutionized basketball. His 28.7 points per game rank third best in the NBA behind just Anthony  Davis and Russell Westbrook, and he’s doing it from all areas of the floor. IT4’s nailing 38.5 percent of his 7.9 three-point attempts per game and nailing 91 percent of his free throws. And it’s Thomas’ calculated aggression that has propelled his Celtics (26-16) into the East’s upper echelon.

This year the number draft pick for college football was number 375 just a year ago. He is from California and is also a pass rusher. He is going to be on UCLA. Jaelen says that he remembers when he was watching on ESPN and he had NR next to his name and then he jumped all the way up to number 3. He says "That was really mind blowing". He also says "I still don't think i'm that good to be honest I don't see why i'm a five star,to be honest with you. They tell me and it makes sense, but it still baffles me. Growing up and watching these (recruits), they're gods to a high school kid. To be in that company now doesn't register in my mind".  Philips was good as a junior yet took a huge leap as a senior. With a With a 6'5, 250-pound frame, he has the ideal size teams are looking for in a defensive end. Further, he has rare burst and bend to go along with that size. 2017 is a great year for offensive tackles, but Phillips consistently beat them during every all-star event he attended. Phillips also has a great motor, and is a top student. He is one of the surest bets in the class of 2017.He's part of a UCLA class that still needs a lot of filling out, but is pretty heavy on star power, with another five-star in California CB Darnay Holmes. With a strong close, the Bruins should finish with a top-20 class. Phillips should have plenty of chances to shine as a freshman, with UCLA's line losing top rusher Takkarist McKinley and top defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes.

I think Decision to move to LA is going to be a bad decision and a good one because they are going to lose so many fans. The chargers chairman is the one who made the decision to move since he was the one who wanted move the chargers to LA last year. Some fans even said "I just took my Charger gear off and put it in the pile with the rest of them like the garbage that the Chargers are." Some others said I've spent a lot of money. I'm a season ticket holder. And it just makes me sad that I can't be anymore. The reason I think it would be a good decision because season tickets are sold out. Also the chargers are getting more profit off of the new gear which people would probably love to buy because it will have the new chargers logo. Also because the season tickets being sold out will make them so much profit. I just think that fans would like to experience the new stadium. Also I think more fans would come because of the new stadium with lots of new things in it.
